We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!Frontend Web DeveloperWe're seeking either a fullstack developer with a phenomenal eye for outstanding user experiences, or a dynamic frontend developer who can roll up their sleeves and help build out all parts of the stack as needed, to join our small team building high-performance graphics web applications. As part of our team, you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining groundbreaking applications bringing cutting-edge 3D algorithms, AI, and innovative UX to rethink the way users can create great content.We're looking for

• A passion for using and/or building tools for Creatives, including video editing, graphic design, and 3D graphics
• Proficiency in ReactJS and NodeJS is required, experience with Svelte a plus.
• At least 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in product development.
• Additional experience with client-side tools like Redux, Redux Sagas & server-side technologies such as Docker is preferred.
• Knowledge of WebAssembly, along with some experience with native code like C++, would be a strong asset.
• Experience defining APIs and integrating them into web applications using RESTful and GraphQL approaches.
• Knowledge of software fundamentals including design principles & analysis of algorithms, data structure design, and implementation, documentation, and unit testing and the skill to apply them.What you'll do
  • Build end-to-end solutions using ReactJS and similar frontend frameworks as well as using Elixir or NodeJS for backend requirements.
  • Work with Product and Design to really understand customers, what their pain points are, and how we can build products that deliver real value.
  • Participate as a part of the engineering team's rotation for being on-call to mitigate service disruptions.
  • Help analyze, design, prototype and implement new services/features and improve existing ones.
  • Work in cross-functional teams to ensure superb end-to-end user experience for customers.
  • Be a proactive self-starter and fast learner who can develop methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Be committed to best practices in software development: design, testing, version control, documentation, build, deployment, and operation.
  • Respond, troubleshoot, and support production systems, performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
  • Perform your own pre-deployment QA and build and implement comprehensive unit tests for confirming functionality and performance of new code.
  • Work well within a small, dynamic team who must adapt as we learn more about what serves our customers well. This includes proactive leadership and mentorship for new engineers as we grow.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $124,000 -- $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
